DAY 25 (Wednesday August, 30th 2017)

Cultural Exchange

Today our agenda is the cultural exchange among  Philippines, Indonesian, and Thai students at ARU. We arrived from dorm to the university at 13.00 pm. Upon our arrival at ARU we were greeted by the deen of faculty of education in ARU. In the first session we were introducing ourselves in front of Thai students and lecturers who were present in that place. As for the performances shown today it is Thai folk song, short drama, and the performances from Filipino and Indonesian students.

Filipino students performed handkerchief dance while Indonesian students performed a collaboration performance consisting of singing Indonesian national songs, and regional dances such as Mappadendang dance. At the end of the agenda, we presented a collaboration from Filipino and Indonesian students like performed baby shark dance. we really enjoyed the day because in addition to exchanging performances about the culture of each region we also got a chance to wear Thailand typical clothes, tried typical food of Thailand, and made the original craft of Thailand.

In addition, in the same time we felt  sad because it is our last day in ARU. Hopefully we can come to this place in another day. Amin...

After the cultural exchange agenda we had lunch at one of halal food stalls located not far from ARU. After that we returned to the dorm and took a rest.

See you tomorrow :)
