DAY 4 (Wednesday August, 9 2017)

Second Day at School

I have my breakfast at dormitory with my Indonesian friends together in order to save money hehehe. Today was the second day for me at school. I went there by tuk tuk with Asya one of my Indonesian friend from Aceh and her Thai friend Ping. We have the same way to school then Ping told the driver to drop me in Watkhian School. I met everyone in the school then do not forget to say “sawasdi kha” to respect one another. I met the teachers at the office. One of the teacher wanted to ask me “have you done your breakfast”? but he could not said it in  English and he just tried to use sign language to make me understand what he mean. One of the teacher helped him to translate the language in google translate so now the google translate plays an important role in communicating with Thai people hehehe.

At 8.00 am we hold the morning ceremony with all students from Pre-school, primary, and secondary students at Watkhian School. In this school there are Pre-school, primary school (grade 1-6) and secondary school (grade 7-9). At that time teacher Napa asked me to introduce myself in front of all teachers and students from those levels. I introduced myself in English language slowly. After speech ms. Napa told them about my personal information and my duty at Watkhian School.

After the morning ceremony, all teachers checked students hairs. The students could not have a long hair (under the ear for girls). Therefore they have the same haircut. 

At the office, teacher Napa showed me my schedule during at Watkhian school. My first week will be an observation, second week will be teacher assistant, third week will be teaching period at school, and the last week will be a culture presentation both in school and university. Furthermore, at around 11.30 pm. I have my lunch with ms. Faa, mr. Ping, ms. King, Ouf, and Ning (Aru student). We ate at the canteen in the market as well as in the previous day.

In the afternoon ms. Napa asked me to introduce myself at grade 8 two. They had several questions to me as well as my first time to enter grade 8 one in the previous day.At 15.30 I went home with teacher Faa together but before that she brought me to Amporn department store in Ayuthaya. We bought some socks and foods to eat in dormitory. I arrived at 17.00 o’clock and have a rest.
